The Materials Engineering Association (MEA) organized the 19th Middle East Corrosion Conference and Exhibition, held in November 11-13, 2025. The conference attracted over 10,000 participants and more than 150 sponsoring companies. The event, supported by Saudi Aramco as a principle sponsor, was a major success, drawing leading figures from the global energy industry, researchers, scientists, and academics. The conference aimed to facilitate the exchange of information among stakeholders, professionals, and experts worldwide, and to discuss all aspects of corrosion prevention and control in the oil and gas, energy, and other industries. It showcased the latest industrial revolution technologies and their applications, presenting innovative ideas and smart digital solutions in materials engineering and corrosion prevention, with the goal of creating investment opportunities in advanced materials and technologies. It is worth noting that the first edition of this conference was held in Bahrain in 1979.
